Cambridge Technicals - prepare for change
In March 2019, the Department for Education (DfE) announced funding in England, for the majority of our Level 3 Cambridge Technicals 2012 suite, will be withdrawn from 1 August 2020. Students enrolled on these qualifications before 1 August 2020 will continue to be funded through to completion. The 2016 Cambridge Technicals suite is not affected by this announcement.
The funding announcement, which is part of a larger review of post-16 vocational qualifications in England, affects qualifications offered by all exam boards.
We hosted a series of ‘Prepare for change’ sessions to provide you with a deeper understanding of what the potential changes could mean for your future curriculum, what your options might be and how we will support you through these changes.
These events have now passed and we’ll be in touch to support schools and college on options, including moving to the Cambridge Technicals 2016 suite, as soon as discussions with the DfE are completed.
